My life has been shaped by my experience as an able boded, cis gender woman. As a 1.5 generation Chinese Canadian (which means I immigrated to Canada at a young age), I have spent most of my life conforming to the expectations of others to define my worth. Being a bicultural individual, I have lived experience of what it’s like to undermine my emotions and masking my individuality to appease others.

About Me

It was through my own healing journey that I realized the unique mental health needs of millennials and our relationship with work and rest. I learned that burnout could also happen without working overtime. That internalizing harmful messages of what it means to be successful made me feel inadequate, regardless of my stellar performance. Through rediscovering my values and making meaningful changes, work now feels complimentary to my life.

Are you curious about living a life where you feel seen and understood? I am committed to providing culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive psychotherapy and encourage impactful healing. Through connection and self kindness there is an opportunity to enjoy life, build resilience and showcase your authentic self. I provide virtual & in person individual therapy across Ontario, Canada. Using an integrative approach, I pull from CBT and mindfulness-based approaches.

As a Registered Social Worker, I have a Bachelor and Master degree in Social Work. During my studies at University of Toronto, I obtained a Master degree with specialization in Human Services Management and Leadership. I have over 5 years of experience working in community mental health and professional associations. I have created workshops, provided case management for clients experiencing crisis, and managed professional development projects. My experience has deepened my understanding of systemic barriers and how forms of oppression such as ablism, racism, sizes, sexism, classism impact a person’s overall health.

I deeply appreciate your time and interest in wanting to get to know me. It would be an honour to walk alongside you in this journey of nurturing a deeper and more trusting relationship with yourself.
